Classic Bike Festival Ireland 2019

Riders & Machines – The Classic Bike Festival Ireland welcome riders of all classic motorcycles from previous eras. Other special and important machines from other eras are more than welcome as the club and therefore the Festival will be inclusive, not exclusive. Riders will need a current MCUI race or Parade licence, if you do not already have a licence, see below for guidance on obtaining a Parade licence to allow you to take part in this event. Regulations, Entry Forms and Guidance Notes can be download below. Please read the guidance notes before completing the Entry Form.

ENTRY FORM GUIDANCE   

Please read the supplementary regulations in relation to this event for important information.

Competition licence notes – if you are a current MCUI licence or parade licence holder please tick the relevant box and enter your Competition licence number in the space provided.

If you have Motorcycle Class A licence and you reside in Ireland or Northern Ireland, then either select ‘Parade’ (charged at £30 for a 2019 annual licence) or select ‘One Event Parade’ (charged at £10 to be used for The Classic Bike Festival Ireland only). Parade licence fees are paid to and licences issued by the MCUI (UC) on the day.

If you reside outside of Ireland or Northern Ireland, you must obtain a parade licence from the Federation in your country, you will also need to seek start approval from your federation. For example, the ACU if you reside in England & Wales or the SACU if in Scotland. The same will apply for riders from Europe and other countries.

Motorcycle Class A licence notes – A motorcycle class A licence means a full, unrestricted motorcycle licence issued by the DVLA, DVLNI or RSA licence or the equivalent in your country.

Event No. notes – this refers to the Event Class number listed in the supplementary regulations. E.g 1b

Parade Lap Class notes – Each motorcycle you want parade laps for must be entered into a class. You can enter as many motorcycles as you wish, please contact with the race secretary should you want to bring more than three. Each Class entry entitles you to a minimum of two parade sessions each day. Riders can only ride the motorcycle they enter, unless by express permission in writing obtained from the clerk of the course, in the first instance please contact the race secretary asking for permission.


Fees

Entry Fee for one day – £70 per class
Entry Fee for two days – £130 per class

Entry fee includes minimum of two track sessions per day and event entry for rider and one mechanic / helper per day.

MCUI Parade Licence – £30 (Annual) or £10 (this event only)
Parade licence fees are paid to and licences issued by the MCUI (UC) on the day

Members of the Revival Racing Motorcycle Club, are entitled to a £10 discount on entry to this event.


Entry Procedure

Entry by email –

  1. Read the Supplementary Regulations here and the Guidance notes here
  2. Download the Application form (see below) and save to your computer
  3. Open the PDF, complete and click “Submit”, this will open your email client, then click send
  4. Or complete and email to entries@classicbikefestireland.com
  5. Send payment using method selected on entry form – Bank Transfer or Paypal
  6. We will confirm your entry once a fully completed form and payment is received

Entry by post –

  1. Read the Supplementary Regulations here and the Guidance notes here
  2. Download the Rider Entry form here
  3. Print, complete and sign
  4. Post to The Race Secretary (see entry form for details)
  5. Send payment with your entry form – GBP cheque or postal order (not cash or Euro)
  6. We will confirm your entry once a fully completed form and payment is received
