G&S RACING KAWASAKI MAKE WELCOME RETURN TO IRSH TARMAC
The G&S Racing Kawasaki team makes a welcome return to Bishopscourt for the 42nd Sunflower Trophy meeting at Bishopscourt Racing Circuit, with their three riders, Tom Fisher, T J Toms and Young Irish star Kevin Keyes who hails from Edenderry, Offaly, Ireland.
Tom Fisher has taken over the role of the team manager this year but has taken the opportunity to return to the track at the Sunflower meeting this year. He is relishing the opportunity to get back in the saddle and enjoy a weekend of racing.
TJ Toms is only 18 but is a hugely talented rider currently riding in the National Superstock 600 championship and running within the top six in the series this year and consistently recording top five finishes to his races. His best result to date was a third place at Thruxton and he finished a very close fifth in each of the two races at Oulton Park. He is certainly one to watch this weekend.
Twenty one year old Kevin Keyes started the year with a fine victory in the Stock 600 series after joining G&S Racing Kawasaki this season. Since then, although he has had his fair share of bad luck with a couple of crashes and a wrist injury, he has completed the majority of the races and has been well within the top 10 each time. He has already confirmed his place in the team for next year and says that with no pressure on him he is going to enjoy the final two rounds of the series and have some fun. He is looking forward to racing on home tarmac and will be aiming his sights at the top step of the podium.
