2020 Provisional Road Racing Dates
Provisional Dates Announced For The 2020 Irish Road Racing Season.
The Cookstown 100 traditionally kicks off the season and will take place on April 24th -25th around the 2.1-mile Orritor course in County Tyrone.
Only a week later, the action moves up the road to Tandragee 100 just outside of Portadown on 1stst & 2nd May this is normally used to get the
final bit of track time in prior to the first International road race of the year,
Practice for the North West starts on Tuesday May 12th ,
Qualifying for Saturdays race day will take place on Thursday the 14th with the first of the weeks races taking place on Thursday evening.
The main race day will be held on Saturday, May 16th with a full programme of Superbike, Superstock, Supersport and Supertwin races due to be run.
A fortnight later it’s across the Irish Sea for practice week for the Isle of Man TT on Sunday, May 31st.
TT Race week starts off with the Superbike TT the following Sunday June 6th.
After only running for the past two years it is understood that the Enniskillen Road Races will not be running in June 2020 as is the case with the Mid Antrim 150 which will once again be absent from the calendar.
Next up it’s back to the Isle Of Man for the Southern 100 July 6th – 9th
The Armoy Race of Legends is to run from July 24th – 25th
Then the highlight of the race season and the second of the Irish International races the Ulster Grand Prix raced around the world-famous
Dundrod course is provisionally programmed to take place from August 5th -8th or the following week 12th -15th dates to be confirmed.
The Classic TT dates have also been confirmed, with the event taking place from August 22-31.
More dates for the remainder of the 2020 Irish National road races are due to be announced soon by the Southern centre.
