Former British champion Makes Sunflower Trophy Race Debut
By Baylon McCaughey.
Making his Sunflower Trophy Race debut this weekend will be Strouds Dan Cooper. The 30 year old builder , a former Ulster Grand Prix winner, along with being the best privateer in the 2015 Isle of man TT races, Dan Cooper is also a former British 125 champion, Cooper is also a past British 600 Supersport winner, along with various top three results in the same class.
Its hard to believe that Cooper is now in his 20th year of racing, but is only getting round to making his Sunflower debut! For various reasons , other events have prevented the quietly spoken rider from attending.
Cooper, who hopes to take in more irish national events next year will ride in 600 Supersport and Supertwin events.
