G&S Racing to return to Sunflower Trophy Races

G&S Racing to return to Sunflower Trophy Races

by bishopscourtcircuit / Monday, 15 October 2018 / Published in Blog / News, Motor Bike Racing

G&S Racing Kawasaki riders Tom Fisher, Milo Ward and Ben Luxton are to ride at this year’s sunflower meeting.

Milo Ward (20) from Wellingborough joined the team at the start of the season after running privately for the last two years and has been a revelation this year with numerous podiums in the Superstock 600championship which runs as a support class to the British Superbike championship. He lies fourth in the championship with just one round at Brands Hatch to go and just 12points away from third place. Milo is also riding as passenger to John Shipley in the pre injection sidecar championship and is currently leading the championship with just one round remaining.

Stockport rider Ben Luxton (23) returned to the team this year after spending the first four rounds of 2018 in the Stock 1000 championship with another team which didn’t work out for him. He rejoined G&S Racing Kawasaki for round five at Snetterton and has scored points in every round to date including a couple of podium places.

Highlight for the team was the Thruxton round when both riders landed on the podium, Ward in second place and teammate Luxton in third.

Nottingham rider Tom Fisher (31) is the son of team manager Mark Fisher and has moved through from the Stock 600s to racing in the Stock 1000 series.

Despite a practice spill last week, Milo is aiming to be on the grid this Saturday, whilst at the weekend, Luxton finished seventh in the Stock 600 race and eighth in the championship. Tom Fisher pulled in because of the poor visibility caused by the spray from the riders around him in the rain!
