Making his first appearance at home this year is Duleek teenager, Aaron Clifford, Clifford has the 2018 season competing in the very competitive British 600 Superstock class.
The General Operative in his local Precast Concrete Company, has been racing for an amazing 9 seasons now!, a former Minimoto champion, Aaron is a Past winner of the Mondello Masters 600 Championship, and was the victor in the 600 races at the David Wood Memorial in 2016.
Admitting that the 600 stock class is ultra competitive, Aaron has managed to put in some very impressive results on his own Yamaha, which he has only been riding for the past few meetings. Clifford has the pace to mix with the best as podium finishes including a win have proved.
Looking ahead to the Sunflower Trophy race meeting, an event he has not missed since 2014, Clifford knows he will be down on speed as his machine is in stock trim, but this wont deter this up and coming Southern rider of giving it his best.
Aaron Clifford ;”This is my first year having not raced on Irish soil so I can’t wait to get back racing in front of the Irish Crowd. I love the track as it’s such a fast and flowing circuit.”
Thanks all his sponsors for all their support all year as none of this would be possible without them! ;
