
Currently lying fourth in the Dickies 600 British 600 Supersport championship, McAMS Yamaha rider, Harry Truelove will make his Ulster race debut at next weekends Jim Finlay Sunflower Trophy races at the Bishopscourt Racing Circuit.
Not only will Harry be competing in the 600 class, but he will also be competing in the Superbike class, on board the McAMS R1M Yamaha, as ridden by his brother Matt in the 2019 BSB series.
Having Alister Russell as his crew chief at the BSB meetings, it was Alister who enticed the 23 year old Lincoln rider to come to the Sunflower event. “ I’m really looking forward to a new challenge, First run on the McAMS Yamaha Superbike, New circuit, yes, a chilled out weekend for me”
Now in his 6th season of racing, Truelove is currently 12 points ahead of Donegal rider Richard Kerr, who will also be at The Sunflower meeting.
Kerr, who scored a couple of Podiums this year, only to loose valuable points in a last corner crash at Assen. The Donegal rider has been one of the finds of this years championship, with considerable consistent performances on board his Campbell Motorsport Triumph .Kerr who competed at the Bishopscourt Racing Circuit for the first time last year at this event, where he took 2nd and third placings. Kerr is the current Moto 3 lap record holder at the Bishopscourt Racing circuit.

I haven’t raced in Ireland this year so I’m looking forward to meeting everyone again and showing them what I have learned on track over the the year. Bishopscourt is my favourite Irish circuit and I am hoping to get a second lap record around it if all goes to plan. Last year I really enjoyed the event and hopefully this year just the same. “
To have both Truelove and Kerrs entries ( both in top 6 in British Championship) competing added to that of British Superstock Champion Richard Cooper and TYCO BMW s Christian Iddon, with more names ot be announced, Its all looking good for the 42nd Sunflower Trophy Races
More top names will be released in the coming days for the 42nd Sunflower Trophy Races, Friday25th/Saturday 26th October.
This years event is a non championship event, and following practice on Friday, there will be Five races, including the first of Three Superbike races.
