The former Irish and Ulster Supersport Cup winner will head back to the North Coast for his second NW200 aboard an ILR-Mark Coverdale Paton, and is also planning to once again tackle the Ulster Grand Prix if the event goes ahead.
The news follows Team ILR’s announcement last week that it would field James Hind in his TT debut along with a four-strong rider lineup on the Mountain Course including Stefano Bonetti, Joe Loughlin and Masayuki Yamanaka.
Gibson will now join the gang and look to build his roads CV after a 14th place Supersport and ninth place Supertwin finish at Dundrod over the past two seasons.
