Johnny Atcheson former MCUI (UC) Chairman has sadly passed away condolences to Maureen and family circle from the management at Bishopscourt Racing Circuit. 
A long time stalwart in all aspects of motorcycling in general and Belfast & District Motor Club affairs in particular, Johnny will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.
Johnny was a very active member of the Club for over 35 years including being a Committee Member and Chairman, he was also Chief Marshal and Clerk of Course at many of the Club’s events.
Johnny was always prepared and willing to offer advice and his skills in the area of course safety were renowned throughout the sport.
Although in failing health in the latter years, he was still ready and willing to undertake crucial roles at events such as Club Steward and MCUI(UC) Safety Officer.
He will be greatly missed by all.
The funeral arrangements for John are as follows :-

The funeral will be on Tuesday at 10.30 am to Blaris Cemetery {the new one approaching Sprucefield on the right].
