Northern Ireland’s McAdoo Racing team will run Adam McLean and Darryl Tweed in a new-look two-man roads line-up next season.

Tobermore man McLean is entering his fourth season with the highly-regarded Cookstown outfit, which is run by father and son Winston and Jason McAdoo.

McLean bagged a double at the Cookstown 100 in September as he made his long-awaited return to the roads following a crash at Tandragee in May 2019.

He is currently recovering from a broken arm following a crash in qualifying at the final round of the British Superstock 600 Championship at Brands Hatch but is aiming to be fully fit for the start of the new campaign.

McLean is joined in the team by Ballymoney man Tweed, who made a successful debut in the McAdoo colours at the Cookstown 100 in September in the Supertwin class, finishing as the runner-up behind McLean to secure a one-two at the team’s home event in Co Tyrone.
Tweed will ride a Kawasaki ZX-10RR in addition to a 650cc Supertwin machine in 2021 and will continue to race a Yamaha R6 in the Supersport class for personal sponsor Stanley Stewart.

The Co Antrim rider is also recuperating after sustaining a number of broken bones in a crash in the Lightweight Supersport race at Cookstown.
