The Motor Cycle Road Racing Club of Ireland can announce that the “IFS David Wood Trophy Races” will return this year on the 18th September at Bishopscourt Racing Circuit. The 2020 event like many others was cancelled due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
In respect to those who lost loved ones, and to all those who succumbed to covid, the 2020 IFS David Wood Trophy will be engraved in their memory.
Two years since the club have been able to promote an event, we are taking the precautions of running the event in one day.
To make up the difference for spectators and competitors we are incorporating the 45th Enkalon Trophy for the Superbike Class. Enkalon Trophy which features at our Easter Saturday event and is one of the longest running trophies in the Tarmac history.
The IFS David Wood Trophy and Enkalon Trophy will be awarded to the highest points scorer over both races in their respective classes, Supersport and Superbike.
2021 Prestigious IFS David Wood Trophy Races, the penultimate round of the Ulster Superbike Championship. Competitors can take advantage of our 2 Championship Races per class with a maximum 100 championship points still up for grabs between this round and the final on October 2nd.
MCRRCI has all our long-term sponsors retained which brings an attractive prize fund for the competitors.
Saturday 9am practice with a 16 race program of races from 11.30am. All the championship contenders are entered and hopefully we will see the exciting close racing continue on 18th.
Once again, we have Product supported prizes including sets of Pirelli Tyres, Arai Helmet for the Man of Meeting, The IFS David Wood Endeavour Award – sponsored by Charles Hurst Hyundai Dundonald, Rea Timber Craft fastest lap award.

The Arai Helmets Man of the Meeting – will receive a New Arai Helmet. The Arai Helmet Man of the Meeting award will be based on a point system on 1st -3rd position finishes, Pole Positions and fastest laps in each class. Competitors in all classes have a chance of winning this award. (A competitor riding in several classes may not win this award).

Practice at Bishopscourt Racing Circuit commences @ 9am Saturday followed by 16 races from 11.30am.
MCRRCI have a great entry line up for round 5 of the USBK Championship and IFS David Wood Trophy Races.
This Event can be enjoyed for just £12.50 pp and pre booked via our website until Thursday 16th September midnight.

Bishopscourt Racing Circuit has all catering, rest room and disabled viewing facilities.
The circuit will be open from 4pm Friday 17th September for paddock set up and Scrutineering.
All covid distancing and hand care should be adhered to during the event.
